Grilled Shrimp and Bacon Club – The Cheesecake Factory
Mar 20

There are two games I like to play when dining at The Cheesecake Factory at International Mall in Tampa. Game #1 involves me seeing how many bites I can sample from everyone’s plate. If this is just The Fiance and me, it is a fairly easy game. On this day it was a celebratory luncheon with his family. The sampling becomes a little dicier as I want these people to like me, not fear my fork. We’ll play that game more as time goes on. Game #2 goes like this: Flip through the 9 million pages of choices, end up in the sandwich section like I always do, and randomly select a sandy for my mouth to try.
Charbroiled Shrimp, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato with Special Dressing on grilled white bread. The shrimp were cooked perfectly. The sauce was not very special. I also thought the bacon could use a little more crisping. I went with the Sweet Potato Fries which were delightful. A decent sandwich, I’ll for sure be back to try Item #129. Thanks for playing.
Update: I now share this dish, the Sweet Corn Tamale Cakes, with one of Spencer’s Aunts (who I love!), every time we go to The Cheesecake Factory. Cycle complete.
There is nothing about this dish that I don’t love.
