Have a Little Faith – Mitch Albom

Jan 02

I borrowed this book by Mitch Albom from my friend Lori.  I devoured it…trying to wipe the smutty Palahniuk from my brain.  This non fiction read focuses on Mr. Albom’s journey of rediscovering his faith.  The story starts with his childhood rabbi asking him to give his eulogy.  After this request,  he wants to get to know the rabbi as a man…so that he can confidently give said eulogy.    Concurrently the author tries to make a difference in his own town , Detroit.  He stumbles upon a Christian pastor….with a very checkered past.  These two men help Mr. Albom, and the rest of us, see all of the good in the world.  Oh and I cried so hard at one point I couldn’t breathe.
